Enforced absence due to much business. thewife and mumsy are off galavanting around the North East of England with Auntie N. I've been pretty much left to my own devices. Prior to them heading off though, we did celebrate my birthday, it was on Sunday but we spent the Saturday cooking, rather than eating out. Roast Lamb, Dauphinoise Potatoes and Cabbage, lovely it was and I got to pick the sweet, so it was bread and butter pudding with custard. I got a new jacket and a box for putting stuff in. (The stuff I need to take to work but keep forgetting, like phone, security fob and clock-in card).The pants fairy came, I don't know whether it was before thewife left or not, but the drawers are full and I have shirts a-plenty. There is a pile of dirty ones in thelaundry basket, so I guess the laundry fairy doesn't come till later in the week.
Thats all I have time for as I'm off to the Woodies.
