The Village Curry House, Nelson Street, Glasgow, is a small Halal restaurant and carry out, near, too near, to my work. They do lunchtime specials, where for between � 2.50 and � 2.90 you can get a perfectly adequate portion of curry with rice, nan, chappatis or parratha. When I use the word adequate, that relates solely to the quantity. The veggie curries have always been the best I have ever tasted and today I discovered that the lamb curry is also the best I have ever tasted.posted by timesnewroman at 1:23 PM
