The British ruling class have really done an inspiring job when it comes to the subjugation of its poor northern populace. Divide and rule is the tenet and divide and rule they have indeed exploited for 300 and more years. A religious division which is still in place and is still strong despite the fact the religion is now largely irrelevant. We reach the almost pinnacle of Scottish sporting excellence when one of our (normally) shitty football teams reaches the dizzy heights of a European football final and half the country follow them there whilst the other half are hoping they get severely gubbed by a Portuguese team. Lets here it then for Darrel a young lad who is normally (if such a thing can be normal) a R*ng*rs fan, but who insisted on waiting till the last possible moment at the YIK to support Celtic in their epic struggle against a people who taught the world navigation and who once too often succesfully navigated through Celtic's defence. There is perhaps some hope for an up and coming nation of non-bigotted youngsters. jimstewart at approaching 50, forgotten the words to Irish folk songs? Is the your new sash clean? Can you explain the offside rule? Do you now give a fuck about football?

Final result was 3 - 2 to Porto. Bollocks. Though Larssen was close to beatification.
